Easy Chocolate Chip Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter (softened, in a room temperature)
  • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 6 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 cup pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  3. Mix flour and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Add to butter mixture; mix well.
  5. Stir in chocolate chip and pecans.
  6. Press mixture into ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
  7. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes
  9. Cut into 40 bars while still warm.
