Easy Chocolate Chip Bars Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter (softened, in a room temperature)
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 6 oz chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Beat butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
- Mix flour and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add to butter mixture; mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chip and pecans.
- Press mixture into ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool for 5 minutes
- Cut into 40 bars while still warm.
